Stock Simulator Competition
The stock simulator competition aims to teach students how to trade in today’s markets with a real cash prize. We hope that with the help of our instagram, podcasts, and newsletters, you can make smart decisions in the market.
Any high school or college student ages 13-22 may enroll in the competition.
What is a stock market simulator?
The stock market simulator replicates the features of the live stock market in an environment without financial risk. This allows people to learn the in and outs of the market and how to trade.
Why is this important? What will I learn?
One of the best ways to learn the ways of the market is through real experience. With our expanding markets and an ever increasing population, inflation is inevitable; understanding today’s economy is vital to future financial success. You can memorize as many terms and techniques as you want, but the only way to get the true swing of things is experience. You will learn strategies and techniques that produce the best returns.
Who is funding the prizes?
We are currently accepting donations and we will match every donation dollar. If you are interested in donating to the competition you can do so here.
Can I work in teams or is this all individual?
This is an individual competition. We can not prevent people from sharing their portfolios, but, all in all, any kind of collusion is not permitted.

Welcome to the Financial Literacy Club’s
Stock Simulator Competition!
This competition will run for 6 weeks from May 10th 2021 - June 21st, 2021. You may enroll at any point throughout the competition. We will announce our winners on June 22nd, 2021.
Students can enroll in the competition via this online form, you will receive an invite link to join. Through an online stock simulator tool (such as Market Watch’s simulator), participants will engage in a 6-week competition in which the competitor with the most net gain at the end will win the grand prize of $1,000. The second place winner will receive $500 and the third place winner will receive $200.
